Recovery Calls On My Neighbours contact

I have a credit card from ICICI bank against which my last two bills went unpaid due to car accident and other unforseen reasons. I have intimated the bank through email and also requested to reverse the interest charges. However bank agreed on minimal charge reversal. Meantime I was receiving recovery calls from various numbers. Now recovery calls are being done my wife's, brother's and neighbours numbers. The caller is using foul language. I have recordings of calls received on my neighbours numbers. I already written an email on this matter to bank. The bank is investigating. I wonder from where they are getting all contacts. They also threaten to call on other numbers. What can I do now ? Are they supposed to call on my neighbours numbers? Please help.

Recovery Agents cannot call you for the Recovery of money because as per the RBI guidelines, if they want to recover the money, they have to proceed legally not by calling an individual if they are doing so, you can immediately take a legal action against them being a recovery agent or a bank

The numbers you provided as alternate numbers are being used here. Your neighbours number is being used because they would have witnessed your application. legally you can file an injunction suit against the recovery agents and by getting a court order you can also ask them to stop the calls
