A pre-arbitration notice from Bajaj Finserv is a formal communication indicating that a dispute, usually arising from a loan or financial agreement, will be referred to arbitration if not resolved amicably. This marks the beginning of the arbitration process, a private and confidential form of alternative dispute resolution where an impartial arbitrator, rather than a court judge, decides the matter in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Such a notice from Bajaj Finance or Bajaj Finserv serves as an official initiation of arbitration proceedings and is intended to encourage resolution outside of traditional litigation while still ensuring a legally binding outcome.

Well, you need to send a Counter Notice or reply to them informing about your incapability to pay them 8 lakhs of Rupees in one go, citing the economic hardships which you are going through. You mention them that your intent is not to default, but your circumstances are such, that, you cannot pay the lumpsum 8 lakhs of rupees in one shot, but slowly and steadily you can pay them in installments, for which, you tell them to extend time, so that, you can settle their loan.
