Non payment of credit card bill and its implications if i'm overseas

04-Aug-2023 (In Banking / Finance Law)
I have moved overseas permanently. I have a CC in India which I am unable to pay at this stage due to my existing financial state. Can the bank open a court case in India for non payment of CC? If yes, will it be anyway applicable to me or affect me as I have moved overseas now permanently?

HI,
don't take chances with banks it will cost you badly. yes bank can file case against you for the recovery of amount.
if the amount is high and bank will take steps for you even though you are in overseas.
by the notifications from the bank you will not get any financial help from the banks in the overseas.
so,please don't take risk and settle the issue with bank and they will provide you instalments for the amount due.
