Closure of joint account by friend without my consent

myself and my friend had a joint account with mode either or survivor. My friend is employee of the bank. Its a staff category ac which has some privileges. We got seperated .The ac was closed only on request of her without my knowledge. Can i sue her for breach of trust

Hi, Please check with the bank about the nature (terms and condition) of that particular joint account. If either of the party can close the account without the consent of the other, then you cannot proceed against the bank but of course you can proceed against the other party for breach of trust and cheating (you need to prove that in the joint account your money was there as well), if she closed the account and took the money for her own.
