Unfair retirement terms given by army what can be done

10-Jan-2023 (In Armed Forces Tribunal Law)
Sir, My father was in service in EME Corps of Indian Army. He served in Indian Army for 24 years and got retired in 2008 from the rank of Havildar. Although, he wanted to serve for an extension of 2 more years, and by that time he could have been promoted to Nb/Subedar, But, he was given retirement on medical grounds. The problem is, neither he got the promotion, nor extension (on behalf of medical grounds); nor he was given Medical pension. Since my father's medical problems were a result of consequences he faced while doing his duty, so he must be given pension on medical grounds

Extension of two years of service is given based on policy issued by Army HQ in 2010. There are other requirements also like opting for the same. It needs to be seen that what is his medical cat and what percentage disability has been given and whether such disability is attributable to service or not. You may discuss the case.
