Is there any provision of waiting list in Delhi police?

Sir, I want to know that. In a recruitment of Delhi Police for the post of Inspector and Sub Inspector, is any waiting list provision. If one candidate is selected after written test and interview for both (Inspector and Sub-Inspector) post in Delhi Police and Police department did not declare waiting list. One candidate can join only one post, the other post is will left vacant. In this situation the next candidate can Claim for the vacant post? Kindly provide help about this.
Sir/Madam, sometimes waiting lists are prepared by some recruitment agency in order to fill up the vacancy when selected candidates don't join. However, the information of the same are given to the candidates. You may directly contact the concerned department of Delhi Police in this regard.
