You have not stated whether or not your injury was aggravated or attributable to military service. In both cases you can get pension and various persons have obtained it. There are many types of pension out of which you may get one. As per relevant Supreme Court ruling , a person is entitled pension even if he has put in one day of service. Pension is continuing entitlement or right so you can apply even now. You may have already applied for pension earlier and forgotten about it in which case you can get arrears also , which you may get even otherwise. Were you informed by any Army authority that you are being invalidated from military service and you may appeal against the findings to Chief of Army Staff ? if not then natural justice has been violated and the entire proceedings are liable to be set aside , as has been held in many cases, which will be to your benifit. You have to quote relevant pension regulations and apply to authorities for various types of pension to which you are entitled [ in succession ] for which you can contact me.
