Can daughter claim pension of ex army serviceman

31-May-2023 (In Armed Forces Tribunal Law)
Is 70 yrs old widowed daughter of Ex Servicmen(Army /Hony Capt) having no source of Income, authorised grant of family pension. Unfortunately her husband and only daughter expired after the death of father and mother. She is totally depended on her brothers and has no income what so ever. Her Father expired in 1987 ,mother expired in 2001 and husband expired in 2008. Does she stand chance for grant of family pension. It is learnt no such provisions exists.. Kindly clarify as the age of widowed daughter is more than 70 yrs.

Hi,

It is suggested that you approach the army authorities with all the details and if any such provision is there, you will be benefited. But, so far the material information available the daughter may not have any right in terms of family pension of an ex-army man.
