Q: Quashing of Wrongful FIR filed against me for stalking
I am an NRI working abroad for past 4yrs. In 2012 I briefly developed interest in a girl (known to me through relatives) and we talked for a few months. We never met but our conversations (mutually consensual) became intimate with sharing of personal photos/videos etc. I was interested in marrying her and asked her a few times to which she never said anything. I told my parents but kundlis didn’t match and we ended talking. She has filed an FIR against me in 2022 (now chargesheeted) u/s 354D IPC when she found out about my marriage with someone else, claiming I made relations with her under the pretext of marriage. I am employed abroad and can’t appear in court. What are my options?
