Q: Unable to attend Indian court date
what happens if I am unable to make a court appearance, due to not being able to take time off work or flight cost are very expensive? Can I request to delay the court date.

No, court dates cannot be delayed. You may always seek appearance through Video conference and ask the court to allow you to appear virtually. Further, you may get the documents notarised st the local Indian Embassy to ensure proper filing of documents.
Q: About my documents how my in-laws return them
Can you please suggest me how I get my all documents from my in laws. Because court procedure is time taking and I went to my sasural with police but didn't return me my documents. I have a need of my documents for interview and preparing for other jobs. Please suggest me some what I do?

Recently married, pregnant of 2 months, I got domestic abuse by my husband. I do not want to keep the baby now and will file for divorce. Is consent of husband required for abortion and If I do not take consent and abort the baby will I face any legal action from him?

Dear Ma’am You do not need consent of your husband for the abortion. He cannot trouble you legally. Further it is recommended that you must file for divorce and file a police complaint against your husband for the domestic abuse.

Q: More than one year has passed recovery is still pending.
Recovery certificate order no 249 dated 11/04/2018 issued to Collector/ Deputy Commissioner North West Delhi by Hon'ble State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Deharadun for recovery of Rs 1696325/- vide judgement order of 28/11/2017. On 12/07/2018 reminder-1 and on 26/10/2018 reminder -2 were issued for immediate action by the Hon'ble Commission. Warrant of Attachment of estate of the property has been issued.But the recovery is still pending.What should i do. Please tell me the all legal possibilities.
