I have completed Registration of my Plot recently and now i noticed that my father name is wrong in it, I want it to be corrected i know an rectification deed is to be made to change that but the other party is refusing to come and asking for a huge amount to come for deed plus the lawery is also charging more

Q: How to claim ownership of government land.?

We are residing in government land since 40 yrs and above. We have no land deed and other document regarding the said land. So kindly suggest us how to claim ownership of government land..?

30yrs is limitation for government land for acquisition of perfect title upon government land , but you have to prove how uninterrupted open etc land office can not record the adverse possession now after passing the order of honourable high court, only Civil court has the power to decide the title whether permissive or adverse
