Groom side cancelled the marriage just 20 days before it was scheduled .All the arrangements were made by my father . Payment for everything was done like caterer photographer invitation cards were also printed all our shopping was done .and all of a sudden grooms father called out marriage by giving excuse that we have a standard and you are not giving us gifts as per our reputation in society although it was made clear by my father that we can afford high dowry although we had done our best

you have to give complaint before the concerned police station regarding this matter. They have no right to demand dowry. Give and take dowry is illegal as per law. Their intention is only to grab money. Their act and conduct is fall under criminal offence.

How long does it take for a petition for Quashing an FIR to be listed in Punjab and Garyana High Court?The said quashing is sought on mutual agreement.

The quashing of FIR takes between 2 to 5 hearings to get the case quashed which will take anywhere upto 3 months or depend on the workload of court. There is no fixed period mentioned in any of the act.

hello sir, i want to change my DOB in 10th certificate HSBTE (passing year 2012) if it is possible so can you please tell me the procedure to change my DOB in 10th certificate because i am facing many problems related to this issue.

Yes you can change your record as per your requirement. But there is only one remedy to file civil suit i.e suit for declaration against the concerned board before the court. You will definitely get success.

Was regularly repaying my ECS when I suffered from ling covid and became permanently disable, my private employer terminated my job. all savings exhausted in still ongoing treatment, All assets consumed for Childern's ongoing study.The Bank have filed NI138 case under wrong category of wilful defaulter. I appeared,Court ordered bail, I took bail on personal assurity but Judge ordered me to get a bail worth Rs 1.25 Lacs, which is obviously impossible for a family dependent on relatives for food

You have to tender all the medical evidence before the court to stay the proceedings of bank. It is a matter depend upon merits of the case and you have to file disability certificate before the court.

Q: Illegal construction by 3rd party without finalizing deal

Property with power of attorney was sold to a guy named Sanjay(we had an agreement of 4 months). He sold it to two other people (half-half) and faked our signature and made power of attorney papers for both of them. Now one of them has started construction with the deal far from being finalized (sanjay only us paid roughly about 10%).now it's only 3 days left in from the 4 months and we want atleast one thing to be ours...either money...or the land.

you have to file a civil suit for specific performance before the civil court. In this suit we pray to the court for temporary injunction regarding alienation to other person and bar to raise construction during the pendency of suit.
