How can I recover our pending amount

My father started an Educational Institute, he made society and 4 5 members was in it. Due to some reasons my father took a decision to handle it to someone else and asked for the money which my father invested,opposite party agreed to give it.Then they change the members in society, one lady who was working with my father she was also one of the member in the society they took all charge of the institute and paid half of the amount.Now that lady is not paying the money we dont have any agreement of money,now it has been 3 years that lady is fooling us but i have audio recording

To recover your money, the first step would be to send a legal notice to the person demanding payment of your pending dues.

Thereafter, if he does not respond to the said legal notice within a stipulated time then, you can file a case under order 37 of the civil procedure code (CPC) which deals with summary suits i.e. recovery of money.
