Dear Querist,
I write in response to the query posted by you, wherein you seek legal advice as to the legal right of daughters in the family property. At the onset I need to tell you that the facts shared by you are very limited in order provide you with an appropriate advice. Any legal advice with the limited facts stated can prove to be very fatal for you.
But I will suggest you to read latest supreme court judgement, Prakash & Ors v. Phulavati & Ors, in which supreme court has clarified about the right of a daughter in the Huf property.
You can contact me in case of any further concern.

After the amendment of hindu succession act which came into force in 2005 married daughters have equal rights in father's property not before this. Your agreement was executed in1996 and will is not there, daughters have no right in property
