on matter related to police and govt. job

25-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
sir i am in a dilemma as i have cleared one of the best govt job .... exam but sir in the last year of college i did something terrible.. i gone to a prostitute ..and soon police caught me .then they searched for prostitute in the vicinity but they couldn't...and they took me to police station they asked to write down my name, local address(not my permanent house address), father name, and my mobile no. but they left the space for crime as a blank as i urged them not to do so.....they asked me that u did sex with her or not.. i replied - "NO. You caught me before i could have done something".. they said we are leaving you on account of my good background and also being a student from a good college ..they left me within 5 minutes...and at the last i asked them whether this written statements would hinder me from getting a job as company would inquire.. they replied-NO.... so sir, my Question is whether i should be worried or not on this issue...

if the FIR was filed in your case then it is a problem. If the police just done the preliminary and didi not register the FIR tehn you need not to worry. There will not be any problem in your job until and unless any case is registered against you in the police station or court,

Yo need not be worried about this. No Police investigation was carried out nor any Police report filed u\s 173 IPC so Judicial process was not set into motion. You need not mention this anywhere. Youth sometimes commit mistake but you should learn from it and not commit them again. Luckily you met some considerate policemen. Prostitution is a social evil and even religion prohibits it. Only because of clients are many women\children forced into prostitution.
