Clarification on online agreements

21-Mar-2023 (In Corporate Law)
Hi there ! My question is as follows: Normally, when we sign agreements in paper format, a lot of people get these papers read out by lawyers. But, what tends to happen online, is that we sign a lot of agreements spontaneously without the help of a lawyer due to the inconvenience of it. Now, I know that although these may be "online" signed agreements, but an agreement is still an agreement whether signed online or not and I believe that any agreement or contract signed by a person should be understood by that person thoroughly. How can this process be made more convenient for the person signing the agreement ? Regards

Can you give me some more background to your concern. Generally speaking online agreements are valid, however, several arguments can be made against its enforcebility basis its structure and intent. This issue has been the subject of several imternational academic debates and case law.

There are several ways of adding to the convenience of the customer/ reader of an online agreement (terms of use). Happy to share with you over a con call or meeting.
