Can I be a partner in a company and employed in another company

Hi, I am a designated partner of a company which I co found during my college days. However I am also going to be working for a corporate fulltime, in few months time. Does it provide any legal implications I should be aware of. ?

A person can be a partner in one Firm and an employee in another company depending on the terms of his employment. Generally the Partnership Firm and the Company engaged in the same business activities do not entertain a person to actively engage in similar business/activities as it will be against to confidential agreement.
