Can an ex employee be held liable for acts of an unoperational company

I was an Indian representative of a foreign company branch in India .this was shut 7 years back but no formal communication was sent to MCA by the company Recently I received a letter mentioned that they are updating data so if there are any changes to memorandum or address and so on please update . Should I write to MCA That I have nothing to do with this as this was shut and I am not a part of this . I just want to be clear I this as I don't want to be running answering queries .
At what capacity you were working with the company and what was the registered office address given at the time of formation of a company? Only after analysing entire facts I will be in a position to reply to your query.
