What should i do if a letter sent by Airtel Advocate to pay the dues

19-Nov-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I asked via mail and customer care to disconnect my broadband in July. Though on multiple reminders they haven't disconnected even their mail bounced on reminders. They keep on accumulating bills and lastly they called me for negotiation but I rejected, now they have send me a notice to pay not a court notice though a letter by a advocate. How to deal with this now since I don't want to pay bill for which I haven't used internet ?

You need to clarify that its a letter or a legal notice sent by Airtel through there lawyer. You need to reply back to the Letter/Legal notice at earliest through an advocate and try finishing the matter before it reaches the court.

You reply to the legal notice, through an advocate and state clearly how you have been constantly sending them mails to disconnect the broadband but they did not pay any heed to your request. They merely sat on your request and collected the bills with the intention to extort money.
