can a college deny placement after claiming at the time of admission

18-Jul-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
1) Hi,I am from Hyderabad, I joined a new college in Chennai for MBA, they have promised very good placements while giving admissions and now are not responding in the right way after the course is completed, mostly not responding to emails or escaping from meeting and demotivating/pressurizing me mentally 2)Moreover, it turned out to be that the college does not have required affiliations that they claimed, in the beginning, making it a worthless degree in reality, Me being from outside state and without any local support, please suggest me how to solve this issue, as I feel I have been cheated and have paid a very high fee for this course.

in this case this is to be seen that whether they gave you any statement in writing or it was just a verbal promise.if you had an agreement stating so then you can send them a legal notice stating your demands and concerns. If they donot comply with the terms of the notice then you can file a case in the consumer court or the court of civil jurisdiction if you think any of your right has been violated.
