What is the procedure of will probate

09-Jun-2023 (In Wills / Trusts Law)
I am from Hindu family in . All properties in question are in WB. My maternal uncle’s will contains his last wishes on both of his movable & immovable properties. Pls advise me on – 1. His properties are in o3 different districts. In which court shall I approach? 2. As no executor specified, shall I apply for probate or letter of administration? 3. Shall I apply separately for movable and immovable properties (as banks need succession letter etc but will mentions both)? 4. His will mentions some other parties to be given some money etc. Shall I have to apply jointly with them or after getting court order, pass their share to them? 5. While applying for probate/LA, shall I have to do valuation of his immovable properties, make a sum of his movable properties and attach it with my application? Or after passing order, court itself will value all his belongings & charge us a fee? 6. Approx. fee of the lawyer.
