Unregistered will can be legal will after death
25-Jul-2023 (In Wills / Trusts Law)
My uncle died who was unmarried. I wrote his will on simple paper in notebook when he was ill . But after some days he passed away. So now can this will be legal. Please advise.
There is no pre defined format of a valid will. The validity of a will does not depend upon the factor that whether the will is registered or unregistered. Even unregistered will which is written upon simple paper of a notebook can be a valid will subject to fulfillment of certain conditions.
