Is it necessary for a will to contain the ID number of beneficiary?

Is it necessary for a Will to contain the ID number (of any ID document) of each beneficiary, to facilitate execution ?

There is no prescribed form of a Will. In order for it to be effective, it needs to be properly signed and attested. The Will must be initialed by the testator at the end of every page and next to any correction and alteration. ID No. Of beneficiary is not essential

No, the id proof of beneficiaries is not required, the id proof and pan details of the will-maker is compulsory in order register the said will. After the death of the will-maker, when a probate case of the said will would be made, then the id proof of the executor of the said will is required by the respective court.
