Inheritance of the property to daughters or his mother

my father is died without a will and his mother is still alive, does his mother has a right in the property or it will pass to his daughter or son?
In this case, Mother is the rightful heir of the properties of her son's properties who have died intestate. After the death of the mother, she said the share of her deceased son's properties will be equally shared by all her legal heirs provided she has not bequeathed the said share of the property to any other person.
