What is the procedure for inheritance in Christians through a Will?
If an executor is appointed under the Will he will have to obtain a probate of the Will and then carry out the distribution of the property in accordance with the Will. If there is no executor named then any person claiming under the Will can file for a letters of administration. The property has to be divided strictly according to the Will left behind. A spouse of a deceased has a preferential right in applying for a letters of administration.
