28-Dec-2023 (In Wills / Trusts Law)
I am mother of two children. I own two apartments. I have already made a will, but not registered. What is the procedure to make a smooth transition after me.

it is relatively safe to get a will registered, cannot be tampered with, mutilated, destroyed or stolen. Further, registration of the Will by the Testator can be an evidence of the genuineness of the Will. A Will can be registered with the Registrar/Sub-Registrar of Assurances with a nominal registration fee.
