Father left a Will small share of 3rd party can he challenge the same?

My father passed away 3 yrs bac and made a will but did not register it. We r 2 bros/ 1 sister and mother . One survivor who has been given small share is trying to create problems . Can the will be challenged and if yes what could be the possible outcome . What is the law of inheritance in such a situation

A will need not be registered to be valid. In the absence of a will, the property would be divided equally between you, your mother and your sister, unless there are any other legal heirs. The answer to your query would depend on how the survivor is related to your father. The share that can be claimed would further depend on your personal law, i.e. your religion.
