Can son write a will transferring property to sister received by will

Can a adult son write a will (as per the Muslim law) saying that whatever property he may inherit after his father’s death should be given to his sister if she survives then or to her children if she predeceased her father
Yes he can do the same as per law. But the said will will be valid only when he has already inherited the said property which is to be transferred after his father's demise.
