Can a person make will if he has loan pending in his name

I wish to make a Will of my residential property in the name of my wife.But there is a loan outstanding against it. In such circumstances can I make a Will? Thanks.

Yes Absolutely you can make a will but when your legal heirs or the person to whom the assets in the will have been transferred tries to claim the same, he also will have to bear the liabilities you have. Because when you make a will then after your death, at the time of the execution of your will to whomever you are going to transfer your assets, that person will also share the liabilities.
