Wants to calculate total family income for the income tax purpose

HI, I am working as a software developer in delhi based company, My Annual income is 4.8 lacs. This year my father during filing an ITR shown his annual income of 3 lacs and my mother income of 2 lacs. My sister income is around 12 lac who is married. I want to calculate my total family income, shall i count my father, mother, and sister salary also. Thanks in Advance

Hi, as all the above said family members are major and independent, so their income will be assessed as individual income. Every member need to file separate return except your mother as her income is below taxable limit. Hope this is clear to you.

Dear Sir for calculating your total family income you simply have to add your father's, yours and your mother's income to calculate your total family income.
4.8+3+2=9.8 Lakhs for the current financial year
