Receiving payment from overseas

24-May-2023 (In Tax Law)
Is it okay to receive payments from foreign countries without having any company registered, because i get money on different websites for providing them virtual service, on to my paypal account and then to my bank account, since i am not any registered company but i prefer doing this and earn money by providing them virtual service, so foreign country people pay me for it or do i need to be registered on government's record for providing individual foreigners virtual service and earning from it.

Dear Sir.. As you are providing service outside India, then you must get registered under the GST Act as it is compulsory in the eyes of law. Further it is advisable that you shall get registered as soon as possible to avoid any kind of departmental notices.

Its always better to get yourself registered as a company and take GST registration as there must be a record else you might be getting notices from the tax authorities if you cross the aggregate turnover limit,so kindly register yourself under the tax regime and register you company too. Thanks feel free to contact
