Employer not filing TDS and not providing Form 16, possible remedies

12-Jul-2023 (In Tax Law)
My employer hasn't filed the TDS payment details against my PAN number for all the payments I received in the previous financial year. I got this information from my form 26AS. They also refuse to provide me with form 16. They have filed only 4 transactions till now and 2 of them are inaccurate. What is my next course of action?

Hi, If your tax credit stmt. shows that there were no TDS payment for certain period then you can send legal notice to them asking for clarification. Issue should be resolved once you communicate through legal notice. Else based on the reply, you may approach labor court.
