Disclosing all account details is necessary to file for tax returns

My Lawyer is asking me to provide him with all my account details to him for filing income tax returns my question is whether all information of all my accounts is necessary to do?
Yes. Else it can be counted as an undisclosed asset and there can be several liabilities and consequences thereafter- such as penal liability, payment of interest etc. Please do contact me for further discussion.

you are required to tell me what is source of your income you have. it is necessary to disclose you income through Bank statement, not necessary to disclose all your account details. the purpose of such disclosing to the exact figure of you income.
