25-Mar-2023 (In Tax Law)
My wife was admited in a hospital for heart problem in nov 2016. That time I had Rs. 94,000/-, which was lent from my friend. Notes were all old 500 and 1000. so I deposited it for the exchange of new notes. When I go to withdraw the amount, the bank replied the amount was hold for the due of education loan and a/c made NPA. The NPA was made only after depositing my money. They did not inform anything about it . They dont issue any notice or letter. I wrote this to RBI. They replied we can,t do anything in this matter. Now What I can do? Pls. help me

Sorry Sir,

you can't claim any damages from the banker since you are already liable to pay the loan amount and because or irregular repayment loan installment shall be treated as NPA status for charging penal interest.

One think you have to keep in mind that all your deposits of money and others could be freeze by the banker till either recovery of loan all dues from you end or getting the renewal of loan account.
