case Law Required for GST matter

03-Mar-2025 (In Tax Law)
our company raised 2 invoices and filed under gstr1a for services that we were unable to provide since the client shut operations and filed for bankruptcy. the 2 disputed invoices were not amended by CA in the due time frame, but we didnt consider these invoices in our balance sheet and gstr 9. can appellant authority in gst pass an order on invoices that belong to company where the case is in NCLT ? Is there a case law regarding this ?

Thank you for reaching out. Your query involves GST treatment of invoices issued for services not rendered due to the client’s bankruptcy, as well as the implications of not amending them within the due timeframe. The applicability of GST liability and the authority of the appellate body to pass an order on such invoices, given that the client’s case is under NCLT, would depend on various legal and procedural aspects. Kindly contact so we can understand you better and come with a solution.
