can I file a New written statement
10-May-2025 (In Supreme Court Law)
I engaged a careless lawyer and he filed a vague written statement, now I want to file a new written statement. I researched on my own and found out that i can do so in rule 9 order 8.
can I ask the court for permission to file a new ws or should go for amendment?
Yes, you may submit a written statement or written arguments, but in that case, please ensure you seek the court’s permission before doing so. You can then submit it on the next date. As professional lawyers, we always share the draft with the client beforehand and obtain their confirmation to maintain a clear and transparent lawyer-client relationship.
