Legal procedure to start an online test series for students

Our firm want to conduct a scholarship exam for which the applicant will be charged a nominal fee which will cover the exam fee and a few other services like mock test etc , our service will be welfare cum profit based . Ofcourse we will support financial support to students n will pay them the scholarship amount by cheque. We do not run a coaching institute . We do own a firm which is registered for Educational and welfare , support services . I want to know the legalities regarding it , and what permission do we need to obtain from any authority to conduct this procedure
Dear Sir, on researching , we found that there is no such specific legal compliance. You will however be required to draft the terms and conditions of your scholarship very deligently and then advertise the same .
