Hello, We have started a startup, we are a online platform which shows in the website list of many detectives and the price of their services.customers will select service(like pre matrimonial investigation),and we will then share the contact details of detective.In our website we also show the sub services given by detectives. for example -"Knowing salary of a groom, groom's family reputation check,office reputation check etc." These are the services provided by detectives.My QUESTION is it legal to show in public domain(website) and advertise about these kinds of services mentioned above?
The keyword you use in the website for as you told 'sub-services' needs to be carefully chosen. Though in India Private detective agencies are still unregulated but there are laws like IT Act, the IPC and other which the personnel you are employing or listing should not violate.
