I own a youtube channel, and I made a troll video on a person who is a fugitive of India and has left the country. The video is more than 1 year old and now a legal notice has been sent on behalf of him to my youtube mail ID seeking payment of 1 crore for defamation. I have already taken down the video. there are lakhs of video on youtube regarding the same subject, can a fugitive take case against me and how will i check whether its legit?
