Can i start a business while working in a firm

Hey, I wanna know if I can start an online business while working in a private firm.
Dear owner , not on your name as it is unethical, but certain provisions can be arranged where u can start your business on your spouse name which people generally do these days and later on when business is profitable they switch. but if u are genuinely working on some innovative ideas and looking for investment and also want facilitation from startup program than team is very important hence director profile and experience.

It depends totally on your employment terms and conditions. Generally, Organizations do not allow to do other full time work when you are employed full time basis. But, you can do business part-time basis. However, you should make sure and check in your employment terms and conditions whether part-time business is also restricted by your organization or not. Additionally, Organizations also restrict their employees to do the same business, which is carrying on by the Organizations, during employment and after employment for certain time period. In this regard, you should check non-solicitation clause of your employment terms and conditions that you have signed.
