XPRESS CREDIT LOAN TAKEN FROM SBI

After the death of my husband am I liable to pay his loans which he took from the bank? I am not legally married with him but to get the succession certificate I made an affidavit from the 1st class magistrate. He worked with BSF and in the official record my name does not reflecting.
