Where can I file a case to recover amount lent to someone

My question if I give sum money to a person who is a employee in my firm and take on installment basis , and I have made an promessary note as legal evidence , but my employee permanent address in different state , if he unable to give my money , then I can sue him in other state also legally via which steps
You will have to file suit for recovery. since he is not responding first get notice issued against him for one month and then proceed to file suit. you must have his address also for service of notice and court summons.
