What will happen if the creditor dies before repayment of debt

I am farud my mother in law money 15000 which was gurenter my wife but my mother in law has been died and my sister in law claim this money Now what will I do?

Dear Sir,

You cannot claim or file a recovery suit from a dead person. Secondly if you want to file a recovery suit you will have to file it against the legal heirs of the deceased. one of the legal heirs would be your wife here. So there is no point filing for a recovery suit as the amount in litigation would charge you more then the recovery amount.
