What can I do against harassment by Recovery agents?

Last year i was jobless for more than 1year still not in right job I was having some dues of credit card which i failed to pay due to i became bankrupt now the bank official are calling all my friends and relatives and harressing mentally by saying they were my guarantor and they will also get legal notice for my non payment . Is it possible? And do i have any law for myself

You can have a mutual talk and request him for some time. You can hire a good lawyer and give a reply to the legal notice.you can state your reasons for not paying the money. If the opposite party files a suit for recovery then you can file your reply in the form of written statement.
