What action can a debtor take if creditor is threatening

Hi , One of my relative taken money with 1% on Rs 1 in village area (odisha) And he already paid the interest more than the principle amount but still those people is asking and threatening so that he trying to attempt to suicide. So I need some legal advice on this matter. Is it good approach can we complain in police station on this matter and in case police not helped then what is the alternative approach ?
Yes you can take legal action against creditor even you can do F.I.R against them under section, 503, 506 of threatning you and also under 420,police can take action against them,if police dnt take action, you can approach the court. FIR can also be registered by court help.
