Vehicle Sale & Dispute as I want to cancel the sale now

Hi, I, sole owner of a vehicle was planning to sell a vehicle. As part of that, I had a verbal/whatsapp agreement of sale with a buyer. Now due to lack of some agreement, I wish to call the deal off. The problem is the buyer has transferred 25% of the agreed amount through NEFT. When I am asking to now cancel the deal, he wants extra money back apart from the 25% that I am willing to return immediately . he is not even providing me his ac/c number and threatening legal action if I dont pay extra. ANy suggestions how to deal with this. All comms have been in WhatsApp and Verbal. Regards
