Used car booking amount refund

Can I get a refund of 25k I have given to used car dealer as a booking amount ( though I have given the token amount to hold the car but on the very next day I asked him to release ). What should I do now ? Can I get my hard earned money back ?

Was a contract signed by you both? What were the terms? We would need to know to guide you properly. Sometimes, it is tough to get the token money back but we can send him a legal notice for the same, whether you have a contract or not.
