Unfair trade practices, fraud, and false promises

03-Feb-2025 (In Recovery Law)
Hi, I have lived in Bhawana PG for a year and left on 06-09-2024. They are to return my deposit which they are declining saying I am not in the position as I cleared my dues for the 6 days of September after leaving the PG. They were initially saying that I’ll get it there’s a delay but it’s January and now there are just giving excuses. That I don’t have the deposit receipt, I left the PG. There isn’t even a rental agreement. Just a piece of paper with house rules with my signature with them.

You are a consumer as per the Consumer Protection Act and this act of the PG is a breach of trust and violation of some sections of the Consumer Protection Act. A Legal Notice can be served and recovery of your money can be done.
