Uncle not ready to repay my loan of 18 lacs, how to claim it back

hello, I have given approx 15 Lacs Loan to my uncle and received pronote signed by him and his son. He is not willing to repay my loan and he is a kind of person who would go to jail for few months rather than repay the loan. Total claim value would be 18 Lacs. After I get decree for my civil suite, how long will be the jail term? Jail term is for both persons signed in the pronote? pls reply

You can send him a legal notice demanding the payment and if your uncle still denies to comply to the same, then you can file a recovery suit in debt recovery tribunal. he'll be imprisoned only when, he declares himself bankrupt, before that court may order to attach the movable and immovable property of your uncle to repay the debt.
