Travel company not refunding money after cancelling trip

We paid an expedition group about 55k as advance. Due to Indo-Pak issue, they have cancelled the trip. Instead of refunding full amount the only option they are giving is credits which means they will use advance payment if we take a trip with them within next 6 months. However we dont want to as we have plans. The second option they are giving is 50% refund but we want full refund as this is not fair to hold our money. We have not signed any agreement, all terms and conditions are in a pdf

We can file a complaint against these people in the consumer court.
Because no company can forcefully stop our money nor can it force us to take a trip from our company only.
